A great step taken by Fca group: the Abarth center in Mirafiori, Torino, where they modify Fiats into Abarth versions and prepare the racers, has inaugurated a restoration center.
You can drive or ship your vintage Abarth to be meticulously restored to original factory specs with the help of official documentation which has been recently catalogued. All Abarth models are covered: from earliest cisitalias, full race cars, autobianchis, all the way up to the nineties models. As well, with all the fake Abarth cars floating around, they certify the originality of the car and/or components.
Apparently, this is the second step in a program to start preserving the fiat families' amazing heritage; the first was the reopening of the Alfa museum at Arese (which is fantastic). And there will be more to come....
