I have a question about 910R exhaust headers/ downpipes - there seems to be three types of headers/downpipes:
1. Racing headers have link pipes near the top/radiator end and slot into the catalytic converter
2. Road headers that do not have link pipes near the top/radiator end and slot into the catalytic converter
3. Road headers that do not have link pipers near the top/radiator end, they are one piece with the catalytic converter & link directly to the exhaust end pipes.

Is there a way of finding out what year the bike is from the exhaust configuration? Clearly option three will require new downpipes and a decat link pipe to replace the cat.

The linked pipes are from the "kit" exhaust and fit all years

The non-linked pipes are from the Euro2 emission spec bikes with 1.6M ECU...and will fit all years

The one piece pipes welded to the cat are from Euro3 (2007..2008 in the US) and later bikes...
