43 tooth rear sprocket mod

I changed the rear sprocket or Crown gear as they say outside the USA. I installed a 43 tooth gear I ordered from eBay and came out of Italy. It’s the same fitment as the KTM 1290. I think it’s a great upgrade! Easier rollout and much better use of the engine torque. It runs about 75mph at 5k rpm on the freeway.

You'll be able to judge when riding, as your wheelbase is a tad shorter. It's rider preference. (When I changed mine to fewer teeth, I certainly noticed the difference in handling, even with adjusted height and suspension refinement. It took a bit to adjust, as I prefer a shorter length, but alas, that's being anal, as the expression goes.)
