Hello,
Yesterday i drained the oil from my 125S.
I had great difficulties to undo the "plastic" drain. The six flats socket wrench i used was jumping over the nut edges. I fixed the problem by machining the front face of the socket to make it more sharp.

Two questions : what kind of plug gasket do you fit ? Mine was fitted with a sort of "flat O-ring". I dont know what kind of gasket material is adapted wit this soft plastic plug ?

Is there some alternative fitment to this weird soft plastic plug ?

Regards
Dominique

hi Dominique

At a guess, the drain plug/oil filter was a disposable part which was 'disposed of' at each oil change, Unfortunately, they are no longer available. I have a feeking quite a few MVs have a similar plastic sump plug.

My solution was to get a brass plug made onto which the filter from the plastic plug was attached.
