i need tires for the spring and is there any real difference between a 120/65 and 120/70?

ill I need to do anything to the fender to fit?

You'll want to raise the rear slightly, and you will need to space the front fender up slightly, there are a few ways to do this, the easiest is just with zip ties instead of screws.

What bike do you have? on the F4 750 the 120/70 has a clearance problem with the fairing. You have to run a 120/60 or 120/65.

Several members have run 70's on older F4's with no issues. It mostly depends on the brand/model of tire.

Michelin 170's won't fit my Brutale's unmodified front but Pirelli 170's do.

Luckily I prefer Pirelli's anyway.

I've run 120/70 in both Michelin and Pirelli. Only clearance issues are with the belly pan during very low speed turns. Fender is close, but it doesn't touch.
