I will start off by I am learning about MV's so forgive my stupid questions. My 2013 1090 as one seat that is both the rider and passenger. My question is can I convert to two separate seats? This bike will be a track only bike so I want to add a rear cowl if I could.

HMMMM....I haven't looked at the seat arrangement on the later Brutales. I am sure something could be done, but not sure how to proceed.....perhaps others may have insight.

You could probably source a Dual Seat Rear Subframe and go from there.....

Is it normal for the 1090 seat to feel not 100 percent secure ?

Go to Startwintradind.com click on B4 then any RR. You’ll see what you need.
A- There’s a cam clip under the cross frame and you’ll need the two pop rivets as well.
B- You’ll need the RR seat lock/cable and the two screws.
C- If you can find the seats used you’ll need this cam screw and the plastic washer underneath that holds it.

Thank you so much for posting this. I really would like to make this modification on my track b4. Finding a used seat thats reasonable is going to be fun.
