Morning all,

I know there are heaps of good threads here discussing the design and componentry of the senna (and its price....lack of RG3 et al...) but looking for some thoughs on its ride and overall livabillity from owners of F4's who then went on to buy the Senna. (and of course anyone with a thought on the matter)
By way of history... I missed out my all time dream of getting a new Ago and in a state of depression :) bought a Brutale Mamba (750), this I thought would cure two things, a desire for a limited MV, and a different MV riding experience. However on both counts its sorta not done this....yes limited but sort of not really...just bodywork not exactly an Ago, Tam or Senna as such, and secondly the ride is different but one Im not getting used to, nor think I will over time

So a new Senna has surfaced and can trade my F4 and Brutale to clinch deal, so back to my question, has anyone been 'dissapointed' with their Senna)
I know you cant really be disappointed...but you know what I mean) :)
Have you looked back and thought, I could have x bike and x bike and some extras? Have you questioned riding such a bike due to potential damage (Sorry Ben, what happened to yours saddened this whole forum), what about limited body parts if that part gets scratched? Theft?
Anyway you get the idea...Look forward to your thoughts

It's nice to have more than one bike in the garage, :) but then again you can only ride one at once. :bawling: I'd love to have both a F4 and a Brutale like you Graham, but then again I would probably trade the pair of them for a Senna or my personal favourite the Tambo. :love: All big sports bikes, whether MV's or not are really toys for the boys (and girls), so if you can afford it, my advice would be go for it!! :smoking:

The solution is to teach your significant other to ride :naughty: :naughty: . Then not only are both being ridden, but you get 2 see your sexy partner on a sexy bike :naughty: :naughty: .

Hi Graham... I think it's a decision that you will have to make, because only you know if it's worth it for you to get the Senna. I am pretty much over the pain of the bike getting knocked over, it is just a bike after all, just make sure that you fully insure the bike.

I would say if you like the Senna and don't mind the trade, then go for it.

If your current MV's are NOT rocking your world, get ONE that does, be it an F4R, AGO or Senna. MV LUST is fun but it sounds to me like you have 2 fine bikes and you should be able to be satisfied. What are you going to do next year? Change is fine though; I've done it with both BMW's and MV's. You gotta LOVE your ride!!!!!

In my case, my previous F4100S 1+1 did not make me enjoy motorcycling an expensive bike like the MV as much as the Senna. It gives me a great pleasure to feel the expected acceleration of a semless throtle grip. More horses, great braking and a sexier engine sound.
I just simply luv this Senna and simply did not love as much my previous F4.
It is just my experience and I hope it helps you to decide.

Thanks for the comments, the price on new F4's is being significantly reduced to clear out for the R which hits us in Australia in November, first it was free RG3's mid pipe and eprom, now its a substantial cash discount as well, all of which reduces my trade price.
I never thought MV would (or should) have to reduce new prices so severley...Im sure most of us have been caught out with Japanese bikes when they run out 'old' stock on announcement of new models.
