Hey guys,

So at the recommendation of our great Donsy I'm gonna adjust my chain, never done it on a single sided swingarm. I read the manual and it says to adjust the ecentic nut using a special spanner wrench. I was curious if and what you guys use in place of the special spanner wrench.

Nothing in your tool kit ? Not sure how they measure these things, but it would have to be about 100mm. Heaps of them on eBay and the Forum sponsors sell them too mate.
Remember it's not just a F4 tool, same on all the MV's, so check the maintenance section.

There is an option that works, but only if you are careful. I have used a soft wooden dowel as a drift. All you need to do is tap with a mallet in the direction you want the hub to go.

I'm a Neanderthal on some counts Noel. If I was in a bind, that's what I would do....very carefully and with the pinch nuts just providing drag. Be gentle. No harm no foul.

Now, if you are a ham-handed good, you might cause some cosmetic damage.
