Tall guy, fit on a brutale?

Hi you all!

Searching for a new bike , one of them is the 1090 brutale.
Being a tall guy (2meters) and the brutale not the biggest bike out there, how do they perform on longer trips? Any smart upgrades ?
Off course dry fitted at the dealer but all bikes are small to me, interested in longer trip experiences.

Current one is a tuonodized falco : the falcuono.
It needs replacement or company. :naughty:
Did see some familiar names from the Aprilia forums.:yo:

I am 6'2" and ride a 2010 Brutale. Longest ride I have done is 200 miles in a day, it did not cause me any discomfort. I actually find that the bike fits me pretty well.

I am also 6'2" and 245 pounds (and lowering)...the 2010 1090RR Brutale fits well and is fun to ride.

I'm 6'4" and have no problems with my 2011. Depending on your body proportions the only place you might run into trouble is with clearance for your knees under the shoulders of the tank. I sometimes find this a minor annoyance on the extremely rare occasions I ride with thick soled boots (e.g steel toe safety boots). Nothing I couldn't fix with the right rearsets, or I could just stick with not wearing those boots :)

I regularly do around 600km/day without issue. The only "mods" I've done to help with fatigue is install some Techspec leg grippers and swapped the slippery stock pegs for some bolt-on Rizoma replacements.

Another tall-ish rider weighing in - I'm 6'2" and the 1090rr fits me beautifully with one exception. If I wear gear with pads in the knees I have trouble shifting my leg forward to shift/use rear brake because my knees hit the underside of the tank.

I plan to fix this with new rear-sets. Something people do anyway for the more aggressive feel and getting rid of the slippery foot pegs.

I'm 6'3" and replaced the stock pegs for Rizoma's (much better grip) and the seat cover (original one piece seat on the 1090R is too slippery). If I wear bulky gear my knees sometimes rub under the tank flares, but rarely does that happen and hasn't since I got the new seat cover. Great for long trips and if you get heavy winds the bike gets pushed around very little, though it does put more strain on the body, like any naked bike, not having a wind break.

6'2" had a 910S brutale, worked fine for me did some long trips (1000 mile weekends) no probs.

Thanks big guys!
Think it will work out, probably some rearsets and maybe an upgraded seat.

PS 2 meters is something like 6"5"
