Could a piggyback fix my ECU?
I have a supposedly faulty ECU on my Brutale 1090 r 2011 (AIW 5SM from Magneti Morelli). Could a piggyback fix the fact that I'm not receiving a signal to my coil (my coil is ok)?

Thanks in advance!

No...The piggyback units only modify signals coming from the ECU....No signal? No modification.

And they mostly only work on injectors, not ignition,

If your ecu is faulty then a piggy back wont help you. in general a piggyback is just that it sits on the back of your ecu and between the ancillaries and the ECU its self. It then overrides signals to ancillaries and feeds adjusted signals back to the ECU. If your ECU or any ancillaries are not working they still wont work.

If you have a faulty ECU, you either need a new ecu, fix yours or swap for a new system. sorry

Ask Silentservice about having it repaired. He knows someone who might be able to help
