Howdy from a B4 owner

2008 910R - I picked this sweet ride up a year ago. I've changed out the grips, rider foot pegs, the shifter and rear brake toe pegs, added a puig tinted screen. Removed the tail blinkers and turned the rear break lights into blinkers (design corsa). I want to love this bike since she fits me perfectly and is beautiful but the suspension is killing me. I'm spoiled, my last two ducatis had ohlins with remote preload adjusters. This sachs shock literally bounced me off of the seat. I adjusted most of the available preload out which has calmed the seat ejections. Anyway, I'm not giving up and will continue to try and get the suspension adjusted until I can afford to replace / rebuild it.

Welcome to the MV family Mark. You've already changed out so much sounds like more work to do on the suspension. You have a great bike that will handle with those Ducatis so don't lose heart.

@Airkitty: Welcome Mark! First let me say that you can freely download your bike's manuals HERE: Team Double 3 Racing | MV Agusta

In those manuals you will find the proper suspension setup for your bike. I will attach some of the information here to get you started. If the suspension hasn't been refurbished since the bike was new, you will greatly benefit from spending that money. Dollar for dollar, suspension work is the greatest return in bike handling satisfaction.

Here is the front set up:

Do this to your rear first

Welcome to the family @Airkitty !!!

Where in South Carolina? I found simply reducing the high speed compression damping on my 910R by a few clicks made the ride just right (for me). Spring preload isn't the only thing affecting that ride.
