I have tried to trace an oil leak on the bike - at first i thought it was leaking around the oil filter - that was replaced and tightened to specs and oil was still puking into the lowers.....i now believe it to be coming from the oil sensor - there is a little yellow plastic bushing in the shaft of the sensor, into which the sensor wires are connected. oil pumps out of the sensor, down the wires, and into the lower fairing, which in turns sprays out over the rear tire. Its not much, but after a hot session in 90 degree weather, i have a half ounce of oil sprayed onto the inner walls of the lowers.....any help?? has anyone encountered this problem??

much thanks!!!

Yes...sometimes an oil pressure switch will start to leak through its center. You must buy new switch.....This is known to happen on all brands of bikes (and cars) but isn't that common.
