How rideable will the bike be with new exhaust/midpipe without PCIII?

I got the new Bodis system in and I'd like to throw it on for this weekend to play around with it. I don't have time to get the PCIII installed or dyno tune it for a few weeks, though.
How rideable will the bike be if I just swap out the stock midpipe and slipon?
Will I do any damage (fouling plugs or running lean, etc)?

Very rideable! the bike will run a little lean but will not "destroy" the motor. I am sure I will get flamed from the tech geeks. But you will have no problems worse case is you notice a slight lack in power or some popping when decelerating. All in all to play around for the weekend to listen to your new sounding machine you will not hurt anything.

+1

I'm no tech geek, so I'm not flaming. I pretty much agree.

Awesome. Thanks guys. I'm going to get some onboard and offboard video with stock and Bodis installed. I should be able to post them up on Sunday.

I would really like to hear it on board, compared to stock videos. I really like the sound of them, but I prefer the look of the slash tips Moto Corse's

I've been thinking about it. Maybe he can chime in if he sees this.
I'm thinking about having the dyno tune done by L&L motorsports since that's what they specialize in.
I'm not sure which is better: an MV speciailist tuning the PCIII, or a PCIII specialist tuning the MV...

I'd go with the PC guy. An EFI engine is an EFI engine but a PC is not an ECU. Use the best guy you can find to fiddle with the particular component in question.

Here is the plan. I have a busy weekend, so:
Saturday I'm taking video of the stock system with a GoPro Hero 5 (onboard) and a High Def Canon HF10 (offboard). Both will have sound.

Sunday I'll take pics of the exhaust and the install. Sunday afternoon (hopefully), I'll take matching onboard and offboard video of the Bodis system.

What I'm going for is a comparo video and sound. That way you can hear the difference between stock and Bodis from the same cameras just a couple of days apart. Should give you a better idea of what it really sounds like.
