A Handful of laps on the F4 1000S at NYST

Just a quick vid of a few laps at a track day after a long layoff at NYST this past weekend.

I had too much fun and I forgot how enjoyable this bike is to ride.

Good to see you back on the forum big fella, thought you'd left for good. Very twisty track you got there.

Thanks man. I've always lurked here reading and stuff. I never left even though I wasn't really active. I figured I'd pull out the F4 for a change.

That track is scary. Every turn is blind and most corners are off camber. The center of my Q3 tires don't even look touched. You're constantly on the side of the tire. I hated the place at first but I love the track now that I've pretty much got the flow of it.

I lowered the rear ride height and the bike feels so much better on the brakes. It lost that 'standing on it's nose' feeling.

Cool man, very nice to see the older bikes still coming out for a play.

Thanks. We had a great time. I was still learning the track so he threw the camera on his bike so I could see my lines. There's still some work needed but all in all it was a good and safe day.

Thanks for sharing. I didn't like it at first either. Took me a few sessions to come around. The last turn is my favorite.

Yeah I think that's my favorite as well. You feel like a superhero coming out of there.

I also like Turn 3. Not the entry but rather mid-corner and the exit.
