The purpose of this section is for forum members to help stranded MV Agusta owners around the world.

If you have a truck, a trailer, a van, tools, etc., and would be willing to help a stranded forum member, post your contact info here.

Ideally, this will become a global map. Each forum member willing to help will add his location and contact information to the map and all you'll have to do is click on the nearest helpful forum member for his contact info.

I'll start.

I live 40 miles north of Atlanta Georgia, USA. I have a truck, trailer, tools, spare parts, and some expertise. My contact number for phone or text is: (860) 625-4732.

I think you guys should start your own thread with a title such as:

Atlanta, Georgia, USA

And then add your contact information inside of it rather than have it in a single thread. That way it doesnt get buried within conversation and people can do a search by title in this forum

Can everyone put name of country in title as some countries share the same name of citys/towns.
This will make it alot easier for a person stuck on the side of the road needing help.

Carl,
If you set up a map like the one I mentioned in the link above.

We can submit our information to you, whatever info you want such as but not limited to:
Forums Screen Name
Real Name
Location, (I'D suggest Zip Code)
Phone Number

And if you want to get creative even the bike you ride
How can you help such as:
Tow, mechanical help, storage, or a place to spend the night.

If one person manages it, it will work better than having multiple hands in the cookie jar.

Just to demonstrate how lame I actually am, I clicked on my own link and I don't see anything.

WTF?

That's what I thought. Big fail.

BTW if anyone knows how to add me I've got a trailer and minimal expertise with a small collection of tools in USA Ohio 45805

Link issues

CAG, I think the forum software is having difficulty with long links. I created another "MV Agusta Rider map" here:

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF&msa=0&msid=
208075253412771489485.0004c86e6bc740863bcf7

If I copy and paste into my browser (both lines) it seems to work but if you make it a clickable link here on the forum it doesn't work.

You can go to your maps page, click "my places", click on your map and then "collaborate". Then you can get the full link. It will be a long one like this one.

Greg, an easy remedy would be to use an url shortener, like this.

secure storage (in the same living room with your bike :naughty:)
hey, you'll get a room with a fireplace, beer in the fridge, wine in the rack, booze in the cabinet....vodka in the freezer
local pub 3 blocks away
I think I'm going to trailer my bike to SoCal and "break down" near Palos Verdes.

It was just an open Google Map. Click on the Aprilia link in an earlier post.

Can I just thank each and every one of you who has put themselves on the map. As I now know the location of enough valuable machines to make the effort worthwhile, I'm off to hire a lorry for a few days and go collect me some bikes. Good of you to take the guesswork out of what places are worth trying ........ :surprise: :ahhh: :naughty:

Send them this way, the more the merrier.
So I have added the DucShop and fixed my locale. Easy peasy.
Glad to hear, now let's just hope everyone else gets on board.
