I just picked up my new '10 1090RR yesterday. I got the silver/red scheme. Wow... what a machine..... I really like it so far.

I'm considering the MV Rearsets as my boots slip off the stock units easily. Anyone have these? Are the shift and brake lever pegs longer than stock?

Thanks for your feedback.

-Thanks for the feedback and suggestions on alternate foot/toe peg solutions. I will definitely look into them.

Yes I did get it at the only Houston MV Dealer - Metric Motorcycles/MV Agusta of Houston. This is not your typical dealer for sure. From the website.... "Metric is a highly advanced, full service engine customization and service facility, with state-of-the-art machining capabilities...".

Andy Mercer is a great guy, upfront and honest. From what he told me he primarily services Italian bikes and builds race bikes as well. He also loves MV Agusta motorcycles and just became a dealer this year. MV is all he sells. He has never been a dealer before MV. He has a modest showroom with an F4 and 2 1099RRs but as he said its a work in progress. He prepped my bike for delivery and then did all my paperwork. Again, its not your typical dealership. My 1099RR was his second sale. If your looking for a fancy showroom you should look elsewhere. As a new dealer he is still working out some of the kinks but overall my experience with Andy was great. He knows MV.

Thanks for the info, I am actually quite the opposite, a fancy showroom on the side of the freeway creates huge overhead....I much rather have them in a warehouse with low costs, so they can invest in training for their mechanics, equipment and tools for servicing, inventory of parts and bikes etc.

I will pay them a visit next week. One of my MVs needs service and new tires.
