I'm sending my forks out to get the stock bottoms surgically removed and repalced with radial mounts and... I'm thinking I can suspend the bike with rope from a beam above and leave it there for a week, or I can buy some pit-bull stands to hold the frame.. maybe when the panels are off, I can jack it up from under, but I'm not sure I really trust that :stir: .. What is the best solution for keeping the front up with no forks??
All you need is a small jack to put under the engine or exhaust to then lift the front of the bike up. Or maybe even use something to hold the back wheel down?
One of these days... I even called some supplier in Canada about it and they couldn't get it for me for months so I just built my contraption instead since I was on a schedule.
By the way, that stand goes into the hollow bolt for the swingarm pivot. They make a bunch of different adapters for different bikes, but the stand works the same way on all of them.
Col3man, I was thinking the same thing about how do you get it up there.
