gee, lee, i have no idea what these mean!! :-) i am not a techie; and, i don't do 'any' work on the bike or car. wish i did!

seriously, i do understand; but, since i don't work on it, i can't do much about it. i appreciate your suggestions.

thanks.

hi rudi. when you say 'without the end pips', you mean, with stock pipes? the bike runs great. the Race ECU totally fixed the any fuel mapping issue. it is completely smooth. the cat-less mid-pipe helped on running cooler.

but, i can't quantify the significance of cat-less mid-pipe in isolation; because, i have also done the following: impeller, muzzi fans and engine ice. the operating temperature never exceeded ~215 or so (my memory is weak!). but, after this winter break, it runs bit hotter; seen around 225 or so. the tech thinks that the coolant cap may have damaged a bit during the winter storage. so, this afternoon, they are going to flush out the coolant and replace the cap (or something like that; sorry, i am not a techie).

also, i am installing the RG3 pipes this afternoon! can't wait to hear it!

cheers.

henry.

cheers.

thanks, cooper3309. we could talk offline, if i have to cross that bridge! :-) i am hoping that the fuel mix is already rich since we installed the mid-pipe with no cat. i could be wrong (i am not a techie by any stretch of imagination). let me ride it and get a feel. i will post my observations.
