She looks really good.
I already made some very small rides around the neighborhood.
However, i thought that the engine would have gotten more power than it actually does.
I hope that will get better overtime or i need to check the ignition points if they are correctly set.
The valves i already did and they are good now.

This weekend i have seen during a test run that the engine was losing oil via the cilinderhead.
So i dismantled everything to see that the gaskets were not of the correct material.
I ordered new ones and by wednesday evening i want to install them.
But i have an issue, during dissamble i didn't look on which pushrod was connected with which valve.
What is the easiest way to see which rod needs to be connected with which valve?
I thought of turning the engine and see when the ignition points/contact points are opening to detect in which stage the engine is.

Thanks, nice to read such comment.
But in all honesty, there are some people behind me that are supporting me like creating parts, painting, engine assembly,...
Via the dutch community, i got in contact with them and they are helping me really good. Everyone seems to love this bike and is willing to help.
Very happy for that.
I am currently restoring a Motobecane moped for 9 years now which was my first real project and is a totally different story. It has been a real struggle to find parts if you don't have some contacts to help you. Sometimes i wanted to give up due to bad paint, leaking tank,...but now it is also ready for a second assembly after a paintjob that a friend of mine did so i am looking forward to that as well.

Electricity done and working.

Hell Yeah, started the engine for the first time after assembling.
Great noise, great feeling to hear it popping in my garage.
Now finishing the electricity and waiting for a painted gastank.

In the meantime, the electricity is on its place and tested with a 1.5 volt battery.
I also added an extra "ground" cable from front to end of the bike.
Lights and horn are working as it should be.
mount rear wheel
mount brake rear wheel
mount ignition coil
mount gas tank and seat
