I dont think he is talking about MV's public release bikes. Also superveloce wont be released in 2019, maybe at EICMA 2019 it gets a release date??
Im leaning towards him having 2 one of a kind bikes, F3 and Brutale 800 in his design.
I inquired about one at my dealer and they don't know what the price will be. They thought around $20K but really had no idea. Did your dealer give you a number?
He is 100% talking about the two bikes he is building for this upcoming season. Watch his other videos, he has some up of him starting the builds and test riding them. An F3 and a Brutale.
I think September 2019 is not so unrealistic for SOP of the Superveloce 800. It is basically an F3 with different styling. It would have been non-sense to showcase it in EICMA 2018 if they had no plan for building it in 2019 if customer response was positive. A pure show bike would only have made sense if there had not been a Brutale 1000 as show magnet.
Back in 2010 I could wait some time from when they showed a bike at EICMA and when they released it. Now I think a year is too long , if they show it in EICMA, it should be available to the public within 3-6 months max. People loose interest when having to wait an entire year. Ive already lost all interest in the new B4 and it hasn't even been 6 months.
I was told by Krazy Horse it would be £24995. I didn't get a number just a receipt for the deposit. I know they still haven't released the stats and figures on it regarding power etc hence why I am a little dubious if Sept is realistic.
I hope they are way off on that number as it seems awfully steep for an 800 that has pretty much only styling differences from the F3. I'm probably in around $20K USD. Not so much at F4RR prices.
I was reading that they are producing more power from the stock engine so the performance figures will be increased, and that is why they haven't released the data yet.
The official MY19 catalogue suggests 25.999€ for the Italian market (with a TBC disclaimer) which would be more or less matching the price of the F4RR.
MV is definitely blowing the competition away with this modern retro bike.
For example Triumphs way of modern retro isnt up my alley.
Superveloce will be a dreambike to own.
800 performance with stunning looks.
