No rides for a few weeks for various reasons. Today I got stuck in some Houston, TX USA stop and go traffic. And well, my hands hurt. The hydraulic clutch is pretty stiff. So is the throttle, stiff to keep it smooth with the high responsive engine I suppose. I have small hands, and that contributes. Overall my hands are fairly robust for riding as I have been riding a lot of years. My Moto Guzzi small block: no problems at all.
Guess I have to live with it. I may need to look into some sort of throttle lock again. The clutch: no answers, and pretty hellish in city stop and stop and slow city traffic.

Strange. I don’t have any issues with my throttle or clutch. If you are new to this bike it may just be getting used to the sweet spots for shifting. Keep at it and I’m sure your body will adjust.
The bike comes with adjustable levers. Nope guys: the Dragster has both a stiff clutch springs issue and also throttle. It is designed that way. I noticed the issue on the test ride and first real evaluation. Bought it anyway. Compared to all my other past bikes: much more resistance. Could be a deal killer eventually for me, we will see. When not stuck in Houston traffic: no big issues, but this city is congested and prone to lots of disruption. Thanks...
Ride it and it’ll get better. I still am lost with the whole stuff clutch spring and throttle. I’m not the biggest guy and it’s like butter for me. My Ducati dry clutch, now that’s stiff.
Try playing around with it. It’s not stiff at al on my bike. I can use two fingers with ease.
consider upgrading the master cylinder rather than selling the bike. I have a beringer master on my 910 brutale and the clutch feel and effort was greatly improved.
Perhaps it will improve with time? Like a Moto Guzzi transmission? Damn the Houston traffic. Bike has just over 1000 miles right now, I may talk to my dealer about the issues and see what our expert MV mechanic says. Yeah, I know dry clutches... need to be Popeye to move them-- crazy hard.
The Dragster likes to GOOOOOO Faaaaastttt+++!!! and not stop and go... feh.
What helps is Advil...and simply riding more. I may add some grip puppies... the real issue is getting stuck in stop and go Houston, TX-USA traffic... the Brutale just does not like that.
