Greetings All-

I guess members are no longer allowed to post messages about ot to eMoto in the vendors section. I've emailed them many times trying to get help. I thought I'd try again here...

Hello-

I placed the following order back in November. The yoke tool was never
sent, but I was charged. Can you please credit my account for that
amount?

Additionally, I had problems with the water impeller I received. The
threads on the inside were tapped incorrectly and prevent the impeller
from being installed correctly. I would like to return it for credit
and was told to write you for an RMA number but I have had no response
from any of my emails.

Please help. I am an honest and good customer and do not understand
the silent treatment!

Regards,
David Cahn

David

what you are doing is the ONLY way you will get there attention

once you also start posting their e-mail corrospondance on this forum, they will e-mail YOU and call you direct at your home (if they have your number)

okay they will call you a wanker and insult you, but at least you will have made communication with them

(its a start)

they will then go a bit further and inform you that they will sue you, they cannot sue if you stick to the truth and stick to the facts,

so as long as you are truthfull with facts feel free to inform the world.

I'm waiting for an item I didn't receive from a December order, luckily I got everything else (lot's of items, over $5K), and this item is rather inexpensive. But...I want it, I've e-mailed them several times, and I've been told that the item is out of stock and will be shipped when they receive more....been a couple months since I last heard anything from them....

I'm not sure I'd describe what eMoto does as pissing off customers. Late deliveries, misleading statements about product or what's in stock are frustrating... no doubt.

But failing to refund money on prepaid merchandise that is not available or to refuse returns on merchandise that was defective at manufacture... these practices are against the law in the USA. If they were USA based, I wouldn't hesistate to sue them. I'm just not sure how to go about it in the UK.

As I've said before I think it's inappropriate for this forum to allow them advertising space or sponsored contact with site members. These guys are crooks.

In the UK, complaints against traders are handled by Trading Standards. The department covering the Emoto area is:
http://www.tradingstandards.gov.uk/brent&harrow/index.htm

You can make a complaint here:
https://ssl.datamotion.com/(S(vueiv....aspx?co=699&frm=complainform&ri=LR&to=advice

Personally, I have nothing against them. I've made a couple of small purchases without any problem, but I appreciate that it is very frustrating getting involved with a dispute from other countries.

i'm uk and not really had any problems witht them but i do agree there attitude sucks at times
some things are completely out of order
i feel for all you guys who buy from abroad (i've done it ) and get shafted but its never happened to me
not clued up on uk buying laws other wise i'd offer my services
shame i'm not with my ex ex ex ex she was alaw student and a bloody good one but thta another story

i do find it very hard to understand why admin still agree to let emoto contrbute or what ever it si they do gor this site
i'm sure other companies that are more cluded up would take there place

why can't us as group vote weather we want to see this companys name on this web site and then try and nogotiate with admin

i'm not trying to cause a riot here i feel for these people and get fed up with hearing about it all (rather more constructive subjects about)
also most people have there site as a favourite so can buy if they wish to risk or not

also if emoto was removed from site there should be no reason for any threads on them and they could be removed when posted

i'm getting hot ahhhh i'm gonna be flamed and banned myself at this rate

sorry !!!

pleae admin explain what they do for this site

This is not a democracy. Think of it more as a benevolent dictatorship. That's why no one votes. The closest you could come to a vote would be to start a poll.

I bet if you did, Alvin wouldn't take it down.

On the one hand, he allows emofo to advertise here. On the other he allows thread after thread trashing them. Seems fair to me.

Ah, the benevolent and wise THRE HANDNED ALVIN....I wonder if he is related to the Six Fingered Man..."You killed my father, now prepare to die...":D

Gentlemen, It`s not that hard to figure out. It`s all about money. Emoto pays to advertise here. The administrator wants the money, so there you go. Fortunately the administrator does not delete unfavorable comments about Emoto. So he`s a standup guy.....sort of:stickpoke

I am NOT trying to inflame the situation, but I wonder how long Emoto would be here if they ever stiffed Alvin on whatever honorarium they pay to have sponsorship on this site?

It's about money, but it's also about whose ox is being gored.

INSIDER:

"What does this site have to do eMotoUK's poor customer relations?
If you get ripped of on eBay because you paid a guy $1000 for a Lamborghini with 0 feedback. - Is that ebay's fault?

You're not one of those that thinks the government will take care of you right?

As in life, you take the good / bad advice and decide for your self."

:smoking:[/quote]

I completely agree. I'm a firm a believer that only YOU can screw your self.

ADMIN has graciously taken his time, energy, and money to create this forum. And for what I can see, it only seems to help every member that joins. We have a great little community here thanks to him.

For those of you who have had a lot of trouble with Emoto, I feel for you. Been there.... it sucks!

Come on guys...

If someone pulls a scam on eBay, you can report it to eBay. If found to be a bonafide problem, they block that user from posting on the site to help avoid future scams.

They don't promote the scammer!!

It's past time to terminate the forum's relationship with eMoto. THEY ARE CROOKS!
