|gen2rt||The tambo in question was for sale in Carpenteria, said to have come out of the guy Webster collection. Advertised/sold for $14,500. I was a day late on that one. About five years ago, a 2001 SP-1 (viper) sold in Las Vegas for $8500. The guy would've sold it to me if I offered more, I didn't realize at the time how special they are. It was the high mileage (14,000) one that had sold out of southern ca a couple years earlier.|

|The_castle||Since you included a few more numbers and letters you may be interested to know that the 10th digit, in your case it is a 5, is the year of manufacture - 2005.|

I believe that is the case with the Tamburini.
This appears to be true of the F4CC 1080 as well.
This is not the case with all limited edition bikes, for example the Senna.

Tamburini VIN question.
My 2005 F4 has a vin ending in 05V100017.
There's a Tamburini for sale with VIN ending in 05V000256. The add says its Tamburini #256
So were the tamburinis a separate vin from the other models with the last 3 digits matching the plate number on the triple tree?
