Spark Well personally given what's been discussed here with the 3 cylinder engines and if I was at a point of deciding what year, I'd buy a 2017 since it has a slightly redesigned engine...upgraded valves if I remember right.

Trevor68 Makes sense, I was looking at a 2016 plated demo which he called a MY17, so I guess they changed to H sometime last year. I like that they are applying what they learn from superbike to the production line, but then they have to have at least 500 made to race I think.

Bruce Taylor Check out this site: https://vindecoder.eu/mv-agusta
The 10th digit on mine is G and it was first registered Jan 3rd 2016
What you have listed is what I was advised, along with a revised sprag clutch

Trevor68 Dealer here said the 2016 IS the 2017, as long as the 10th digit is H on the VIN. He also rattled off a lot of changes, from memory new valve liners, cam tensioner stuff to make the engine quiter, some gearbox changes too I think. He called it a mechanical refresh. Same bike, just stronger bits where they were breaking in superbike.

Bruce Taylor Difficult one that, I have had three F3's, 2012 675, 2014 800 and a 2016 800RC,
They have all improved as the years go on and you do not hear so much about the "Sprag Clutch and Throttle issues with the later models, which plagued the earlier models

Suggest you talk to a decent dealer to find what improvements have been made to the latest version which I understand there have been

In my opinion the RC is worth the extra
