Hello! I plan on taking advantage of the 3.5k rebate and buy an F4 this week, I sold my 749S yesterday, and I am thrilled about being an MV owner, I've lusted over these bikes for years and now to be purchasing one is a dream come true!!

Looking forward to chatting with and hopefully meeting some of you!

Congrats and Welcome! :)

Have you picked up the bike yet?
My local dealer is closed today (Monday) and tomorrow (New Years Day), so I have to wait until Wednesday to complete the deal (we have worked it all out over the phone since I've purchased Ducati's from him in the past).

My dealer has a White one on the floor, but I'm going to see if he can find a Black one for me; they are all beautiful though...

Congrats and welcome Bomaizey... bring your bike up north, I am less than an hour from you (South OC).
Sounds good, or you could come down to lovely Carlsbad. It's the "village by the sea" you know, at least according to the Chamber of Commerce here.

Did you get your bike from Pro Italia or Spectrum?

Yeah, I hated to part with the 749, but the MV is awesome!! PM me the next time you are headed out to Julian and I'll try to make the trip. As soon as our rain is done I will be taking the MV to Palm Springs for lunch (traditional good luck break-in ride)...

Carlsbad is a very nice place to live! You know I might take you up on riding down there... to answer your question, I bought the bike at Spectrum.

Yes I concur with the rest of the crew, welcome to the forum from members on the Isle of Man the home of real motorcycle road racing. The 1000 is sure a different animal from the 750 though and I have seen a lot of articles saying to give it 1500 miles before making judgement.
