Thought I would share my excitement for the day with you all. Six very long weeks after negotiating and paying for my Senna, today was delivery day!

The weather was not ideal, far from it but I refused to wait any longer. I decided the bike had to be in my garage by the end of the day, so I convinced my wife to drive me out to the shipping company on the other side of town.

There was a nice break from the rain and even some sunshine while we unpacked the crate, but as soon as I pulled on my helmet and fired the Senna up, the heavens opened and it poured down again. For the next 45 minutes I rode in the rain on boring suburban roads, in 5 o'clock traffic, wet and cold - but I was smiling and laughing the whole way home. Especially when I made my way to the front of the line for a green light and was able to give it a twist...wow! Thank you for the encouragement to buy this bike, I feel the start of a wonderful relationship with her.

Broms AND Beancounter...NICE!!! Yummy! :lickout:

I love the Senna!

And Broms...Despite the fact that it will CLEARLY be a violation of my neighborhood's covenants, I have GOTS to paint my garage door red!!! I could just park bikes in front of that, take pictures all day, and sell them as posters on eBay!!! I love it, the perfect backdrop for your starlet.

You boys have fun, be safe!

Nice bike and nice cars...

It's an Aston and a Mercedes ML, no???
You and Dova must be car spies !! Very good to pick those two cars from that very average photo by me.....The ML belongs to my wife. I took a friend's advice which was 'buy your wife something you want to drive yourself because (with two young children) you're going to be spending a lot of time in it..' so I did. She is a bit of a 'Revhead' too, so 375kw is not wasted on her!

Griff,

I had one of those red italian sports cars that I had to sell to help pay for our house when we were building. We had a baby coming etc etc, we were a bit bummed about the car going so my wife thought it was funny to change the spec on the garage door and paint it Ferrari Red without telling me!

Very nice set you have there. Plus a Senna to boot... lucky man you are.

Get an Ohlins shock for that Senna! It's transformed mine,- better ride and doesn't stand up so much while trail braking into a corner... at least I think it's the shock,- could be the 4k miles I have on it now that loosened it up... actually I want the new low pressure Ohlins that has all the adjusters on top...

Loved your description of going to pick it up! AND I agree with 211..... Red background and Senna are superb! You have a rockin' wife! Best wishes!
