    I suspected that :-)
No worries, I will post a few things in the new members zone...
Maybe tomorrow, though, it's almost time to go to sleep, and I'm exhausted.

    Visitor messages do not count.

You must post in the New Member Introductions thread......

    Hi Chuck,

Many thanks for your swift reply.
And for your advices, especially the fist one ;-) Hopefully this message will be counted as the second one, and an introduction message should then finalize the process :-)

And thanks for the info; I'm looking forward to find those covers... and the diagnostic kit!

    Cheers!

    HI Renaud,

Most people do not read the welcome message section of the forum that explains the Three Post Rule: https://www.mvagusta.net/forum/161-n...bers-read.html

There are those on this forum who do have what you seek in the For Sale/Wanted to Buy section of the forum. You can use TOOLS>ADVANCED SEARCH and seek once you get three posts in the introduction section.

As for diagnostic and reset software, Technoresearch provides the VDST cable and program you will need for your Magneti Marelli 5SM ECU.

Your manuals can be gotten here: Team Double 3 Racing | MV Agusta

    Enjoy the hunt!

    Hi there,
I am new here and am not sure yet how to be allowed to post messages in the forums.

I just bought a Y12 1090RR with low mileage, and I am in the process 'making it mine' :-)
And one of the first steps is to remove unnecessary clutter such as secondary air piping and stuff: for this to be clean enough to my taste, I am looking for aftermarket secondary air inlet covers/plates/whatever name this can have. I am struggling a bit to find those on the net, but I've read on this forum that some people have. Would you have an idea of who/where these can be found?

I am also looking for an affordable test & diagnostic kit to be able to do at least basic maintenance, set idle rpm, reset TPS after syncing throttle valves, etc. But this is another story.

    Cheers!
    Renaud
