Appears they finally gave up on the frameless design.... Ciao Panigale? Podium result in Austin and near front in all the races...too bad they had to use Rossi to experiment with a failed design.

Top yoke looks very light!

They gave up on that a couple years ago, introduced the twin spar aluminium fame for the '12 season.

Interested in anything that Sucks, Bangs and Blows!

If I remember correctly, the MotoGP Aluminum Twin-Spar Chassis project was introduced when Rossi was still in the team.. It was manufacturing and engineering with the help of a third-party chassis firm somewhere in the UK.. I can't remember their name, but they helped Ducati Corse to construct a prototype aluminum chassis.
