Lancaster KB-882 to be moved and restored.

I know some on here are will be interested in this. I'm super stoked!

"Two major bomber aircraft from World War II will soon be united at the National Air Force Museum in Trenton Ontario.

The museum has been working for months with the city of Edmonston New Brunswick to save a Lancaster bomber that has been sitting on the ground there for 50 years."

"Executive director Chris Colton says the Lancaster flew the same type of missions as the Halifax bomber, beginning in 1943."

It wouldn't let me load the link but are they going to restore it to a flying condition or will it be static? Love the Lancaster and it'd be nice to see another flying.

The Quinte news article states it will be restored and displayed inside the museum along with the Halifax.
The Halifax is a static display and given the condition of this Lancaster I'm sure that's all it'll be. Shame too as it was flown to it's present site over 50 years ago.

Did the second link work for you? If not do a search on Lancaster KB-822.
Also, check out the National Air Force Museum, Trenton Ontario.
