greasefest - custom & hot rod show, Melbourne

Spent a few hours photographing some hot rods, custom autos and classic Australian cars over the weekend.

All of the hi-boys have small nondescript fenders. Is that required by law?

910R, S4RS Monster,'78 BMW R100S, Heritage Softail, Chrome V-Rod, Sportster 48, Kawasaki Concours 1400, '07 Ultra Classic with sidecar, yellow Vespa LX 150, a cool little Ruckus, and a very understanding wife........

Thank you Russ, there's some amazing cars in there, and I recognise some of them from local shows.

Yes Randy, there's a few ridiculous laws for the guys to adhere to in Aus, but the system seems to work. A good friend of mine does this for a hobby, very much an addiction.

Love the old Holdens Russ. My Father has an FC that has been in the family for about 30 years, currently going through a ground up restoration.

My first car was a HD ute. Sold it to my brother, now it's in pieces under his house. I should have kept it.

There's another being built at the moment.
Nev is a massive talent, builds everything from the ground up and has built several Cobra's and a GT40 here in Aus. One of his T-Buckets won Hot Rod of the Year at the Bursig Casino show some years ago.

I don't have many pics, but here's a few.
