Trickle charge?

So how do you guys trickle charge your TV? Can i use my BMW canbus system in a socket or only connect to the battery direct.

There is charge socket under the rear seat. Not sure for the BMW canbus system, but the TV should have been delivered with a charger (which is not to be used if you had replaced the OEM battery by a lithium one)...

Like Marc said, my '16 TV came with a Battery Tender and MV specific dongle that connected to the factory charge connector under the pillion seat.

I connected a standard Tender lead to the battery, then fed the other end out behind the right side panel and sub frame.

No charger with the bike but the Optimate 4 should be ok.

This is the charger that came with my bike. The packaging even said MV on it. Pictured below is the factory location of the trickle charger. No splicing nessisary.

Ok Marc, on ur remark re this, can I confirm that when I eventually replace my battery and bought a lithium the official MV charger does not suit....?
(For future reference)

I confirm the mv charger is not suitable for lithium battery : it includes desulfatation in the charging cycles
