Hi lads just received my TV today, its a 16 plate in red and it looks stunning. No doubt I will be on asking questions so forgive me please. My first is,is there an adaptor to plug in my optimal 4 trickle charge or is it the usual remove the seat and hook the lead up to the battery.I will post some pics when I get a chance.Cheers

Congratulations! MV's usually come with a trickle charger for battery maintenance already hardwired onto the bike, they sell them aftermarket too!

You mean like https://www.optimate.co.uk/products/o57-mv-agusta-lead ? So may allow you to do a better cable routing with the tail in a location that means you don't need to lift the seat?

If you bought the bike new from a dealer it should have come with a battery tender, at least mine did; purchased new Jan 18.
I swapped the lead from my old bike to the MV.
Then routed it outside the frame near the rear preload adjuster.

There is usually 2 ports under the passenger seat, next to the tail light: one is 4 leads and is for diagnostics, the second one is 2 leads and is the charging port.

@Black_Gold_Saw posted a good picture of this....

I'm assuming, perhaps incorrectly, that placement is pretty standard across models.

From the TV Manual:

@phillo45: The charging port is under the seat and has a black rubber cover.
