What Spare Parts?

A 2018 Turismo will be in my garage next week. Given the meager availability of readily accessible parts, what spares should I have on hand for the Spring/Summers riding season? What breaks the most or needs maintenance?

What a shame such a question need be asked of this prestigious marque

(No criticism of Scott because I understand the question is a valid component of summer season preparation.)

Just make sure you are on a first name basis with your spare parts guy at the local MV emporium...

(Hi Simon, thanks for the great job on my recent parts order from Italy..)

If the TV indicators are so shit just buy aftermarket when the first set break...why replace them with OG's if they are shite?

I went out and put a tank full of fuel through my F4 today and she lapped it up...my nearly 60 year old back and shoulders are talkin' to me about the 206kms though..

My bike is a 2016 TVL so YMMV

I drilled weep holes in the directionals - so far no failures
About to swap out the clutch basket [preventative] and pressure switch. Your 2018 may not have theses issues as parts were updated.
Sprag clutch may go south - so far so good on mine. Your 2018 may not have this as parts were updated
Fuel indicator sensor may go south - no issue with mine
OEM battery - no failure preventive upgrade to Earth-X 36C
Tires - didn't care for the Pirellis much happier with Road 5s
Wish list - a spare DL in a non-reporting jurisdiction - the bike really does like the upper range.

It seems like getting parts is a common problem. I've been waiting for a new rear indicator for 6 momnths! So I fitted a pair of Barracuda 'IDEA' lights instead. BTW they needed a 150 ohm shunt resistor (ea) to get the required current draw to correct the flash rate.

I'm thinking of writing a letter of complaint to MVA Italy.

After i changed "few hundreds" of rear indicators (all in guarantee) i decided to open indicator to see what is the problem, so i cut clear plastic from housing because its one piece Main power supply wire is soldered very weak to a LED connections and due vibrations it cuts, so i put more soldering lead and problem fix, i did more than 10000km and no problem, BUT it doesn't look nice cause i use Sikaflex to connect clear plastic with black housing.

When i was on EICMA in November i saw company that makes those rear indicators for MV, on that moment nobody was there so i decided to come back later and talk to them but i couldn't find them anymore, sorry my bad

My experience, get another TV to bastardise to keep your one going, no end of issues here and 4-6 months wait on parts is nothing short of criminal.
