Just checked and my app is 1.0.3 also


Now I'm wonder if I should try it set in Km instead of Mi to see if that impacts the connection?


What language have you selected?

Took me a while to connect my phone, but as suggested above it worked when initiated from there bike. Then entered 0000 from the phone. After that the app just worked. Latest iOS on iPhone X. I only want it to track my ride, don't listen to music or answer there phone. As for changing bike settings, I'm just getting familiar with riding so I'm happy at the moment with whatever it's set at.. I'm sure that will change..

As soon as I will go for the warranty replacement of the quickshifer I will take my iPad with me. If the dealer cannot connect I will pretend to do suspensions mod on their PC connected to the diagnostic.

I had the same frustration. I discovered that it was my iPhone; the model was too old. 4S then tried 5S. (i know, I know, get with the times!! ). They would connect to the bike but not download the bike data.

I tried it with an iPhone 8 and bingo!! It worked as advertised. So not sure which phones work but if you can try someone else's possibly newer phone you may find a solution.

I even tried with my new ipad and still nothing ..as I say I can connect but I can only see demo mode so cant see my suspension and cant see any data logging ..but I can access music/phone contacts etc from the dashboard on the bike !!!

New iPad, latest updates. Same results.

One thing I noticed, and please check if the same happens to you.
When I connect my MV branded Zumo 390 via Bluetooth, or any other paired device such as my Android phone, or the very same iPad, the Bluetooth icon in the dashboard is solid. No flashing, no disappearing, solid on.

When I start the app, when it tries to establish a connection with the TVL, the Bluetooth icon disappears from the dashboard for one or two seconds, like the BT module has been disabled. Then it reappears.
This happens one or two times before the app gives up establishing a link.

(I hope all of the above makes sense)
