OTD cost falls just short of 13 grand.
I was thinking closer to 12k.
Now waiting to hear from the salesman to see if they will move off their price.
Maybe next week.

Got email from salesman this afternoon asking for photos of Buell; said he'd talk to the manager...

Call Paul at Heinens
Tell him Dennis Sent you.
$9700 plus shipping and $199 for prep. for you it would end up being like $10,400 delivered.

Thanks, I will keep that in mind if the local deal doesn't work out.

I have a 16 TV. Itís FANTASTIC and has become my daily. Always fun, always comfortable. A few minor spotty electronic issues, all have been covered under warranty.

Get your haggle on and get it. You will love it.

Well if all goes according to plan.
I should have my new MV on Friday.

Not happening today (Friday.)
But, by this time tomorrow, I should be on the way home with my new ride.

So I put the bike in the garage and it was moaning... Guess I didn't ride long enough.
Actually it was the oneway valve for the emissions canister.
I know CA bikes are required to have evaporative emissions systems.
Do bikes sold outside CA have them? Black can right side below the fairing.

I believe the new Euro4 spec bikes now have an evap. canister.

Nice pics Teeps, hope you're enjoying the new ride.

Yeah, thanks.
It is so different compared to my Buell, but at the same time familiar.
I really like the soft ride, kind of floats along.

And I have a new respect for ABS... as, I thought the Buell had a good front brake.
This thing's brake is unbelievable. Two fingers it feels like it wants to do a nose wheelie!

Did you adjust the rear brake pedal on your bike?
As delivered it was really low, so I raised it up about 1/2".
