Clock runs fast

I mean the actual time clock on the display. It seems to gain about 10 minutes in a few weeks.

I know it's a trivial issue but is this just my bike or a common thing? I don't think I have another device with a digital clock this bad at actually keeping time....

Mine does the same, I don't get to ride on a daily basis so it's a case of either adjusting it practically every time I get on the Turismo or just accepting that it can never be trusted to be correct. Usually the latter though if embarking on a few days riding I'm usual inclined to sync it to real time rather than leave it on 'Verese time'.

As you say, it seems ridiculous that a modern digital clock should exhibit such a tendency to drift. Especially on the Lusso that has a GPS receiver built in that connects to numerous atomic clocks whenever the ignition is turned on...

Same here. In fine, I do use the clock of my Garmin GPS unit. And I agree with Bumpkin... Now saying that, on the other side, I never got a speedometer so precise...

When companies tune their bikes they usually go faster. Italians just tune the clock...

The clock is a victim of voltage fluctuations...voltage drives the quartz.

My clock is now 21 mins fast, which is exactly how long my ride to work takes. So it's now a countdown timer for my commute. Italians are so clever.
