To me it looks like a bolt on replacement for the grab rail. Given the number that they'll probably produce I can understand the steep price.

You are absolutely right. Didn't realise it replaces the original grab handle. It thus justifies the price.

Thanks.

Hi Marc, here are some pictures as promised. I put an open face helmet in the top case for support and a pair of rain jackets for cushioning my wife's back. I also secured the side bag loops with a heavy duty cable tie for extra security. You don't want to find the wife or GF missing when you arrive at your destination. Or maybe you want to!

The wife says that it should be about one inch farther back. For comparison, she's 49kg.

They do not seem to have online ordering. Looks like you would need to leave a message on their website. My Italian is zero! I would be interested in buying one.

One of the guys on the Turismo facebook group had sold his bike and as a result was offering the top box bracket for sale. Decided to take a punt and bought it. Well made and fits perfectly. Only addition was 2 washers on each securing bolt as the bracket is not as thick as the original grab handles. Bought it so the wife feels secure on the back and will be good to store helmet and tank bag when I am touring and stopping for a toilet break or a meal. Will not be loading it up with gear so should not affect the handling. Went out today and wife says its perfect!
