Turismo Ignition Key

I need to know if there are any electronics in the ignition key , Please ?

I've just fitted my SW Motech tank ring to my bike, this is the quick release type and fits my Micro Tank Bag,

Not enough clearance on the key , only need to remove about 10 mm from the red plastic top,

any help would be appreciated, wanted to try it out tomorrow

yes there is a little chip in... for the immobilizer!

just be carefully how much u will remove. I think the chip will be near the middle of the key. near the metal from the key...

Remove the mounting plate from the bottom of the tank bag, measure how much clearance you need to clear the key, get 4 longer nuts and bolts and make up /buy some spacers to lift the bag away from its mounting plate enough to clear the key . Bolt it all back together.

Either that or send the SW Motech bag back for a refund and get a Givi one. Don't have clearance issues with the small one I use on my TV.
