Turismo Gps

Evening all,

I have read that if you have a standard Tv like mine you can get an upgrade to have gps on the bike.

Does anyone know the cost of this?

Cheers

No, but I wouldn't get too excited, it's not built in sat nav, it's some kind of data logger

The data-logger requires an iPad or iPhone and an app that is currently not in the app store anyway. The app's usefulness is questionable aside from being able to fine tune suspension settings (not too sure how well that works) the rest is just downloading of data which might be fun if that sort of thing floats your boat.

I believe that you would need to buy the GPS receiver Ä360,76 + tax, and probably pay an MV tech to fit and set-up the firmware to work with it.

Maybe you mean a regular GPS? the very first TVs called Edition One ISTR, came with an included Garmin GPS.

Alternatively there is an MV branded Garmin Zumo 390 available. TBH just buy the regular version for almost half the price and some RAM bits to mount it. If you want an MV logo, or a picture of your dog, on boot up then a regular Zumo 390 can do that. If you want MV dealers as a points of interest set, like the MV version, then look no further than this thread. Dealer list updated last week so bang up to date.
