Unhappy Cracking

a nasty joke

This was a little crack in an array of others barely visible cricks
Then a funny thing happened

and it grew bigger and bigger.

No impact mark, no scratch nothing. Happened inside the garage!

Now duck tape is my friend.

Waiting for someone to come along and say it's part of the passion of owning MV, so it's acceptable.

Do something today that your future self will thank you for.

Part cost a king's ransom.
Won't bother changing it before the next service.

But the vertical stripe of duck tape holding the plastic
makes the beam look like twin lights!

Practical maybe not but nifty.

It's Italian plastic, not your normal common people plastic.

Ahem...

This headlight unit looks a lot like some other parts of the Stradale.
Could be made in China.

Expensive like any china cup, pot or vase.

The duck tape is US made in St Paul, Minnesota; Scotch Brand "898" (60yds roll)
