Stradale better in real life

Went over to Startwin yesterday as i was in the area anyway. They have the new Stradale and it really surprised me. When i saw the release info from MV i didn't know what to think of it. Now i like it!

I took some pictures of it.

It's more a Rivale than i thought. They added soft bags with tail lights on the back but they can easily be removed leaving you with a Rivale. I guess it would take you less then 5 minutes to add/remove.
It also features a nice comfy seat. The windscreen is not that ugly in real life either.

Finally, I'm no longer the only one who likes this bike

Pascal, I was surprised to hear MV Agusta will not be represented in Utrecht this week....
I'll visit Startwin soon to see the Stradale with my own eyes!

Cheers,

Joost

I'll be there on the clubstand with a pair of old MV race bikes and probably an F4 and Dragster RR. I'll do my best to represent MV Agusta in the worst possible way.

Hi all, i got my new Stradale from the London dealer a couple of weeks ago. I've been riding it without the saddlebags so far. the only problem i can see is that every 5mins there's another biker stopping me to congratulate me "nice bike mate". everytime i park it and come back there's a bunch of people taking picture of it!

Hey... I'll be watching you
We have a Dragster RR + F4RR

MV Agusta Benelux will be present at the stand from Molenaar.
The TV is on display somewhere on the show too!

What a beast of a motorcycle!
It growls and rages and flies across the tarmac like a wild animal that has escaped the confinement of a cage and after merely waiting restlessly until the release, will not endure being locked up ever again.

Skye I miss you. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux.

Visited Bennetts in Barnsley on Tuesday and got my first real good look over the model, the different colour specs and got the chance to take out the shops demo bike.

What a surprise, this is a very impressive bike, hearing it had less power than the other 800's kind of made me dismiss it a bit, how wrong I was, it goes very well, especially for a street/semi adventure style of bike.

The detachable panniers are very well though out and with them removed the bike becomes a real world alternative to the Rivale, where the Stradale score for me is the much better tank size and resulting range.

Has got me really thinking that this bike could find its way in to Jen and my garage, more test time will decide, I certainly think folks should also seek a test ride on one and find out for themselves.

Sounds good jimbo. Is the seat really tall like a rivale? Only asking as I'm a bit of a short arse!
