Why did you choose Nitron and what have you done to the front suspension?

Joel I Am waiting on a Nitron 3 way adjustable shock with Hyrolic preload adjuster for my MV AGUSTA
F4 312R. It should be here by now Im waiting on delivery status .

Stephen Nitron is the Mercedes of suspensions in auto racing . And they Started making Motorcycle suspensions about 2 years ago ...Compared to the Ohlins TXX36 The Nitron Race shock has better materials ,more adjustability bigger Piston(46mm vs 36mm) , higher grade hydrolic oil. And costs roughly 30% less. Mupo excellent and if your in USA JRI excellent also .

Ohlins makes a good off the shelf product , but now there are Companies better shocks out there that cost less.

Ohlins ultimately makes the best motorcycle suspensions in the world in MotoGP/WSBK . BUT we the public
cant buy them . Nitron website http://www.nitron.co.uk

Jake, Nitron have been making motorcycle suspension a lot longer than two years, the reason I know this is I met Guy the owner of Nitron at a bike show in 2002, he was making shocks for Lotus cars and I drive an Elise, we got talking about bikes and a shock for an F4.

Guy said he would like to make one but had been unable to get a donor bike to develop one for. So a few weeks later he had my F4 in his workshops in Witney Oxfordshire, and I ended up with the first ever F4 shock. It's still fitted to my 2001 F4 750 and a superb shock it is.

I am well aware of Nitron as Iím a big car buff and past Lotus owner. (Iíd dearly like to have a Lotus again but prices here in the Great White North are just nuts.)
To my knowledge there are no dealers or service centres for Nitron in Canada. Iím looking at Elka which is built here in Canada. The main service guru is an old racing buddy of mine and his shop is just an hour from my door. http://www.acceltechracing.com/
Itís been my experience that most OEM rear shocks can be adjusted or lightly messaged to work well on the street whereas most OEM front suspensions need far more work. Also, reworking the front yields greater rewards. So Iím looking at doing a cartridge swap up front before spending a lot of money on the rear. That is why I asked Joel what he did to his front suspension.

After fighting for 20 minutes trying to load the above post so I could edit the error I give up.
It should read "massaged" not "messaged".
