Need Help Sourcing 05 F4 Suspenders
Howdy folks, man I'm having a hard time finding even springs for these forks. Ken at Superbike Suspension is my go-to guy, but his time is taken up by motoamerica clients lately. He couldn't readily tell me what valves and springs I need, and I only called him after exhausting the limited tapatalk search features on this forum.
I'm looking for valves and springs for the forks, and any information about making this Sachs shock work with a rebuild. For the latter, I've been eyeballing the Racetech shock valves. Anyone have experience with these that you'd care to share?
For the former, I'm open to suggestions. Would replacing the front end with one from another bike be worthwhile? What about these Andreani Misano kits? Ohlins is not a requirement, and I've used GP Tech and Racetech in the past.
I'm not looking to make this a race bike, much less a competitive one. She just needs to be able to get me around the track just quick enough so the blue flags don't turn black in Group A/3.
Thanks in advance!

I can't speak to cartridge kits, but if you source straight springs, they will bump on a spacer that exists on the adjusting rod that goes down the center of the spring.
The Marchesini springs are dual tapered.....

I checked out that thread of the chap replacing his 05 forks with Ohlins of a 12 F4. That seems a bit extreme for my case, but it's looking like it may be the way to go

I had Ferracci puts in the stiffer springs and revalve. Works great. Unfortunately, Ferracci is no longer in business.
The top spring of the two is the stiffer spring.
