Ohlins Cartridges
Well had a set of Ohlins 30mm NIX cartridges fit to my RC 800 yesterday. These will match up well with my TTX shock i got a couple of months ago and had all the bike set up for my weight etc.
Had the work done at Mick Gardner Racing and well impressed with there
workmanship and help.
Not really had time to test yet but had a little bimble out and feels alot better all round.
To be honest it couldnt be any worse as when they stripped my Compression fork we noticed that there was hardly any oil in it.
This was a new bike in june and its the first time the forks have been touched since it left the Factory.
This really is shit and can only be put down to bad workmanship on their part.

Gas forks generally don't use much oil. Did you measure to see how much was in there?

Yes Jerry,
they are the latest 30mm NIX ones.
There not listed for sale and are specially made up at the Race department.

It's something I've always wanted to check but I don't know how to do it without completely stripping the forks. Not the first bike I've heard of with completely the wrong amount of fork oil from the factory and I'm not just talking about MV.

You don't have to remove the forks from the bike to check the oil levels, and the MV Marzocchi forks are not gas equipped as mentioned above.
Check the Manuals carefully, the two sides do carry different amounts of oil due to them having different functions, wether this affects the end level Incant say for sure but can check up if need be.
