Seals replacement on F4 Marzocchi front fork

Hello

My F4 has a front fork oil leak, is a 2006 F4 1000R with 50mm Marzocchi.

Anyone know were to find the seals and bushes?

Thanks
Pires

Star Twin Trading or you can try aftermarket.

Search this forum for "seal mate". You can also make your own.

As it turns out you may just have some road grit between the seal and the fork allowing a small volume of oil to pass the seal on compression.
Have a search for "Seal Mate" on the forum or online.
If that does not sort the leak then, yes - source replacement seals.
Good luck.

It ain't what you ride, it's the way you ride it.

A home made 'seal mate' did it for me, just sacrificed part of the plastic cover from one of those floppy binders that hold the sheet protector type sheets. Not the best description I know but hopefully you'll figure out what I meant! Something I would never have thought of except for the forum, saved me some $$$ and down time.

Thanks guys.

I'll try that. Maybe works for me.
I will leave my conclusions at the end.

If you do end up having to replace the seals, they're available from forum sponsors, any MV and KTM dealer and eBay, I'll put some part numbers up for you when I get home.

Sorry buddy, almost forgot about this.
OK, the seal is a 50x63x11mm size, fairly easy to find on eBay.

Technopolomer AG used to be MV supplier, part # ARI 093.
Come's from www.jmproducta.eu - JM - No. 734.00.93

I've used these guys many times - http://www.pyramidparts.com.au/produ...55-130-ari-093

Good luck

Just one more question.
If i have to replace the seals, must replace bushes and dust seals too?

I'm never done anything like that.

Thanks
