Wink ?

Slow down guys......

Íhlins 160mm springs are also series #1091

which go from 54Nmm to 110Nmm

if you change the collar on the shock for a 10mm taller one you can use the series

#1093 springs that are 150mm long and go from 34Nmm to 210Nmm

spring rate is a VERY subjective thing.......

I have the lightest Showa springs vailalble, 0.85 Kgmm on my Aprilia RSVR, stock was

1.05Kgmm!!!!

the shock spring a #24-80 .....457lbin stock was 600lbin.......and I'm going 1lighter

it is the most confidence inspiring bike I've ever ridden, I'll never sell it

geared up ~180lbs

my suspension settings are WAY lighter than everyone else ...... I know what I like,

past.....fabricator/test rider for F W Egli ......

we did something right to get those 10 blue FIM Certificates for 4 National and 6 World

Championships

Cheers Mr Knurl,
the TTX shock i have bought has a 24/80 spring on it so it maybe worth trying with my 187lb rider weight.
Thanks by the way,i now feel ive got closer to the pics you post on your avatar. Its as though she has replied to me personally LOL

Exclamation Íhlins numbers

1st. code for spring length

2nd code for spring number

3rd spring RATE in N/mm

4th production date code

Dave the 3rd number is the spring rate in N/mm, it has nothing to with rider weight due

to differences in;

bike weight

linkage ratio

think about it
