Dragster RR tyre choice

Thought I'd start a new thread

Boring subject but they're not cheap and want to make an informed decision

Been recommend to change to 190/55/17 Rosso III - anyone done this ?

Currently have Rosso II's

This will be third set on bike done 3.5k on stock and 3k on last ones (although as on other thread after 2.5k and riding in high temps they have tread left but give out on bends and feel [email protected])

Hi CharLy.
I'm using 190/55 Rosso III on my dragster; I feel the slightly higher gearing but the bike feels way more agile. I've only ridden about 1,500km since the change, but they're wearing well. My Rosso II only lasted just under 5,000km.

Cheers,

Nick M

New Site Garage
I'm about to renew mine also on the Dragster and was also looking at Rosso III's, I've been getting about 8-8500km on the Rosso II's and the front has done double that, I must be riding like a granny compared to you lot

Current steed - MY16 Dragster RR
Previous Bike - 2008 Triumph Street Triple

Gong for the Metzelller Racetec RR's - I'll let you know what they're like after a spin to West Bay Sunday ☺️

Went for the racetec 200/55. Seem ok so far - bit of a smoother ride/more compliant that the rosso 2s
