diablo rosso 111?

Need a rear tyre and although the reviews say the Rosso 3 is better than the 2 has anyone found the new one that much better on the road? Can still get a 2 for a fair bit less moola than a 3.

I almost never ride in the wet and its unlikely I'll get to track it.

I was looking at the Rosso 3 when my rear tyre was due but to be honest I've had no issues at all with the 2. I'm about halfway through my 2nd rear and due a front soon and will most likely be getting Rosso 2's again. I had also though about Rosso Corsa's but I get about 8500km out of a rear and doubt I'd get that from a Corsa.

I didn't particularly like the 11 so fitted a pair of pirelli angels. Really good tyre and cheap also.

I just put Rosso IIIs on my dragster front and back - seem pretty good so far, and price was reasonable too.

OK - I like the 2s so I guess if I can get 3s at a reasonable deal that might do it. Mind you as Doggy says the Angels are a good price. Conti attacks get good reviews too.

The Angel GT's are kinda like Pilot Roads I think. For my F3 (mainly dry and no track) I will be going with Metzler M7RR's or Pilot Power 3's as Diablo Rosso Corsas are a bit on the pricey side.

If you dont ride in the cold, wet or track then Rosso 2 would be fine. They are ok but not great in my opinion

Not used Rosso 3 but reports say its a marked improvement

3 of us fitted brand new Rosso 3's to our bikes prior to a recent 2000 miles plus jaunt to Europe.

F4RR - 1098R - 1098 Streetfighter.

On the SF they were just perfect as this is the niche they were aimed at but sadly on the sportsbikes I think that they are not quite as good as the adverts would have you believe.

5.5mm tread depth new is now 2/2.5mm after 2000 miles of mixed conditions. When we were "on it" they were fine and steered well and were mainly composed under braking and turn in but asking for the power did see them lay some "darkies" in 4th on occasion.

In the wet at 90 mph in monsoon conditions they were tremendous.

If it was on a Dragster or Brutale then I would say go for it but on an F4RR then I would think carefully.

Interesting, what do you think about an F3, used in the UK, mainly dry conditions but most of the year round?

I had the DRC, but only really got 4000 out of them and wouldn't mind getting something a bit longer lasting.

About to buy a new pair of tyres for the Dragster and looking at the Rosso 3 instead of the 2 this time, only thing I see it that all the Rosso 3's I find seem to be listed as 200/55's whereas the Rosso 2's are 200/50's. Is that going to make much difference ?
