Post Rear brake line failure,

This is my 3 season with my F3 800, this season my rear brake sort of locked it self after braking and not letting the fluid back to/via ABS unit to rear master cyclinder.

The fault is a brake line runing between the ABS and master cylinder close to the exhaust, the heat makes the rubber soft and makes the metal spun reinforced brake line to "close" when you let of the brake leaver. This looks and feels like you have air in the system and bleeding does not help. Think of this before you change your master cylinder or brake caliper. I thought I had air in the system too at the end of last years season. But standing still on que got me the trouble above

This has happened on some bikes and MV Agusta has a replacement line.

If you can not wait you can get a brake line company to make one

Hope this help some of you out there

Ride safe,
