Hey George, I just noticed something weird, did you delete that question of yours before I responded to it, or did we do it at the same time? I responded to your question via the email I got on my PC at home, but when I looked at my answer on the forum, your question was gone ?
Did you delete it or was it my mistake ?
yes deleted. The answer was in the initial post

Thanks George, I'll figure out what happened, I was pretty sure I've had it happen in the past.

If anyone is wondering still, the ttx36 shock for the 2010+ swing arm would not fit with the early frame plates due to the adjusters and reservoir location. For this I was able to fit my pre 2010 marzocchi rear shock using the 99-09 pivot and adjuster to the 2010+ swinger. The 2012 f4 pivot I have is a different lever ratio and the adjuster is about an inch longer as a result. If anyone has a brutale 2010+ pivot and adjuster I'd be interested to know the dimensions.

Question

Okay Al, Dons, et all, I am trying to follow but my reading comprehension is shit. Is it possible and if so how hard is it to fit a +ym10 swinger onto a 07-08-09 with a shock without a side mount reservoir like the Sachs that came on the Tambo and CC or the Moto Corse TTX 36? Is the ride height something that can't be adjusted for?

Three pounds is a lot of unsprung weight for the price of a second hand >10 swinger. Especially if you throw a mag hub in the works

I've never done it mate, Noel says he has, swapped the swing-arms I mean, so can't help you there. Just another one of those things I'll never be able to afford.

As for your shock fitting into the Y10 swinger, well it should be fine, the Y10 swinger has a bigger "hole" for shock installation. It's the Y10 shock which can't go into the old swinger Ian.

Can't comment on overall shock length thought, over to you Al.
